Nitta Caruso

Born to aristocratic family, I arrived in Australia from Italy
at age 5. At this age through my mother's influence I began to find pleasure in
singing, and singing soon became a strong influence in my life. I sang at
weddings, at school, at social gatherings and grew up feeling that I would
become a professional singer.
When my mother died and left me at an
early age, my music studies were suspended for several years. Eventually I
resumed my studies with singing teachers, then at Sydney Conservatorium and
later with Madame Marianne Mathy-Frisdane. From latter I learnt skill to
sing with clarity, ease, creating a beautiful sound, and a long lasting voice.
As a teacher, I have cured many badly damaged throats thus saving a
lot of voices and trained a lot of people who enjoy this skill.
